The 90 color images selected were taken by Goldsmith during the period of Springsteen's fourth album, "Darkness of the Edge of Town." They showcase Springsteen's passion both on and off the stage during what is considered to be a musical turning point in his career. The book's 1984 release coincided with Springsteen's massively successful "Born in the USA" tour and gave fans an unprecedented look into the ascent of this pop culture icon.
